Planning a visit to Kuala Lumpur and you are not sure what places of interest in KL to include on your list? Where is Menara Kuala Lumpur located and how to reach Menara KL?
If you are staying in Bukit Bintang or KLCC, the KL Tower is easily accessible from most locations by train or taxi. The tower is located very close to Petronas Tower and KLCC Park and all of these locations can be easily explored in a single day.
The nearest train station to Menara KL is Bukit Nanas LRT which is located in front of the Concorde Hotel ( 4-Star). I have stayed at Concorde Hotel several times during my visit to Kuala Lumpur. A walkway across the road connects this location to the tropical forest surrounding the KL Tower.
Another interesting place I stayed during my stay in KLCC is Oasis Suites and Hotel which is located within walking distance from the tower. Bukit Nanas LRT can be easily reached from KL Sentral and Bukit Bintang stations.

The tickets can be purchased online or on-premises. As the tower attracts large crowds and groups, I suggest booking online to avoid queues and save time during your visit to this location.

What other attraction are available at the KL Tower
A mini Zoo at KL Tower provided a close encounter with a number of unique animals birds and reptiles. The zoo is an interesting attraction if you are visiting this location with children.
The tickets can be purchased for RM 15 at a separate entrance located adjacent to the KL Tower.
The KL Zoo can be explored in 20 minutes at an easy pace. The children can feed a number of animals and get close to a unique variety of birds including macaws and parrots.
A gift shop near the exit, sell a number of souvenirs and gifts.
