Pahang is one of the biggest states of Malaysia. A major part of the state is covered with thick rainforests that are home to some exotic species of plants and animals. The oldest rainforest in the world "Taman Negara" is located in Pahang and is one of the most popular destinations with nature lovers and adventure travellers to Malaysia. These rainforests are more than 130 million years old.

Taman Negara

Genting Higlands

With very easy access from Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands has become one of the most visited destinations by tourists in Malaysia.

Located at the altitude of 1600m the rolling hills of Genting provides relief from noise and activity of KL. Popular as a weekend retreat, Genting attracts people who love long drives, gamblers, shoppers and fun seekers.

The easiest way to reach Genting is to catch a bus from KL Central. Alternatively, the quickest way is to book a taxi costing around 500RM from the city. The taxi can take you to the lobby of First World Hotel. The buses, however, drop you at the Cable Car terminal where you will buy a return cable car ticket worth 10RM that takes you to Awana Resorts.
